Rayglass Boats has successfully completed the first in-house lamination of its 380 Wide Body Protector model at its new, purpose-built manufacturing facility in Takanini, Auckland. The achievement marks a significant step forward in Rayglass's production capabilities and supports the company's commitment to innovation, quality, and growth.

Previously, wide-bodied vessels in the Rayglass range were laminated externally. The new state-of-the-art facility, designed specifically to accommodate larger-scale production, enables full control of the manufacturing process, driving improvements in efficiency, scalability, and quality assurance.

"A key driver behind building this facility was to bring the lamination of our larger boats in-house," said Dean Harris, President of Rayglass Boats. "It's a game-changer for us. The team has done an outstanding job, and we're thrilled with the results. This new capability allows us to ramp up production and meet the increasing global demand for our wide-body vessels."

The successful completion of the first 380 Wide Body Protector in-house is a milestone that highlights Rayglass's investment in local craftsmanship and its forward-focused manufacturing strategy.
