Two stalwarts of the yachting world are combining forces to offer an unrivalled service to US customers. Forte Yachts will feature world-renowned Genesis interiors, and both are represented in the US by Genesis Yachts. It means that Forte's American customers have access to the very best sales and warranty support from a dealer based in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.

Forte Yachts has developed a jaw-droppingly beautiful 47ft weekender that is filled with compelling new thinking. Fold-down midships balconies, a semi walk-around deck and luxurious interior all speak of years of experience. And though the brand itself is young, the yard behind it has been building faultless aluminum hulls on behalf of the best-known Italian shipyards.

"We know the 40-80ft yachting segment exceptionally well," said Forte co-founder Fernando Moricca. "We wanted to put this expertise to better use, so we founded Forte Yachts to develop our own ideas. We expect our first model, the Forte 47, to appeal strongly to American boaters, so we are delighted to have reached this agreement with Genesis in Fort Lauderdale."

Giacomo Lombardi, General Manager of Genesis and now also the US Sales Manager of Forte Yachts, said: "We have been firmly implanted on US soil since 1997, producing the world's finest yacht interiors from our ateliers in Fort Lauderdale and in Viareggio, Italy. As we worked together on the interior production for the Forte 47, we experienced a rare degree of understanding and goodwill between our two brands. It was an easy decision to take on the representation of Forte Yachts in the US."

A new way of living on water

As you'd expect with such a combination, the living spaces on the Forte 47 are beyond compare. Every centimeter of the hull is designed to feel like home - but a home characterized by simplicity, comfort and elegant solutions. Totally bespoke furnishings crafted with pure Italian style combine with a symphony of natural light and indirect lighting to create two peerless master cabins.

Forte believes it has developed a very strong layout, with the two master cabins each benefiting from a dedicated shower and head. Another great strength of the design is the generous headroom and large beds. All the same, the aluminum hull makes the boat infinitely customizable. Bespoke elements can be incorporated and furniture moved around - on the spacious main deck or below.

Taken together, the flexibility of the shipyard and the presence of experienced US representation puts Forte on a par with much larger brands. "Forte is punching above its weight with this deal," added Lombardi. "Not only will American customers get the very best local dealer support for their investment, they also get privileged access to a fantastic new yacht. With its two fabulous cabins and 430 square feet of deck space, the Forte 47 is a boat that will appeal as much to younger owners as to families. It combines the soul of a dayboat with the capabilities of a weekender - equally suited for a quick trip to the islands or a legendary party."

Hull number one is optimized for outboard propulsion, and is nearing completion in Italy. The team is hoping to bring a boat to the US as soon as possible. But in the meantime, there is still time to meet the Forte Yachts and Genesis teams in person at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 29th - November 2nd 2025).

Find them at the Genesis stand in booth/slip 823 in the yacht builders pavilion of the Bahia Mar Yachting Center.
