Stingray Boats, a leader in fiberglass boat manufacturing since 1979, proudly announces an expanded leadership team that strengthens its commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and long-term dealer success.

As Stingray enters a new era of growth, the company welcomes a dynamic group of leaders whose collective expertise spans engineering, operations, finance, and global sales. The executive team now includes: Mike Youngblood, Vice President and Global Director of Sales & Marketing; Chad Helms, President and Chief Manufacturing Officer; Warren Felkel, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Drew Gantt, Senior Director of Product; and Blake Caudle, Senior Director of Business Operations.

"Stingray has always been guided by innovation and integrity," said Barry Avent, Chairman of the Board and former President. "I am incredibly proud of the team we have built and confident in their leadership as they guide Stingray into its next chapter. With their expertise, Stingray is positioned to reach new heights in both craftsmanship and customer experience."

Al Fink, founder of Stingray Boats, continues to serve as an active board member, offering strategic insight that has shaped the company's legacy for more than four decades. His pioneering spirit—embodied in advancements like the patented Z-Plane hull and early adoption of CNC machining—continues to influence Stingray's design and manufacturing philosophy today.

Leadership Team Highlights:

  • Chad Helms, President & Chief Manufacturing Officer, joined Stingray in 2025 following more than 20 years with Fortune 500 companies DuPont and Sonoco Products Company. Chad brings deep expertise in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and process optimization.
  • Warren Felkel, Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, joined in 2024 and brings 17 years of accounting and finance experience from stints at Grant Thornton, SCANA Corporation, and Sonoco Products Company where he also developed skills of strategic planning, business growth, and continuous improvement initiatives.

With skills in supplier negotiation, cost management, and product analysis, Blake ensures Stingray's business operations remain efficient, strategic, and value-driven.
