Alia Yachts launches its latest 43m raised pilothouse full custom project destined for the Caribbean

by Alia Yachts 2 Oct 2025 13:36 BST

Alia Yachts has launched its first new boat of 2025, an exquisitely designed 43m destined for the US. The fully custom aluminium vessel splashed at Alia's state-of-the-art Antalya shipyard, with the delighted owner looking on. Two months of commissioning and sea trials now follow before delivery late this autumn.

Project ALY431, to be known as Ximena in the future, is pure Alia. Aggressive lines by Omega and a pelican's bill bow combine to give her a sense of dynamic movement. The sunken pilothouse and the low-profile flybridge deck with its extended overhangs aft lend the boat a lean, athletic look. This is no mere boast, as the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) devised by long-term partner Van Oossanen, achieves a top speed of 22.6 knots. It strikes peak efficiency across multiple speeds, including cruising at 20 knots and long-range economy performance at 12 knots.

Out of the ordinary

With lines reminiscent of an arrowhead, Ximena is clearly destined to impress. Generous glazing at main deck level brings light flooding into the owner's suite forward and the large saloon. Four guest cabins are spaciously arranged over the lower deck, with room for up to seven crew for optimal service. Exterior spaces are just as extensive, with a foredeck lounge, cockpit and that flexible upper deck. It is quintessential al fresco design for a Miami lifestyle - an unmistakably contemporary take on classic raised pilothouse yachts.

"For us, the launch of a new yacht is always a very satisfying moment," said Gökhan Çelik, president of Alia Yachts. "It is a mixed emotion, as we are also sad to see a project nearing its end. But after years of engineering and hard work, I never get tired of seeing a beautiful boat outside on its trailer bed in all its true majesty. Inevitably, we are always proud of the men and women who work on the boat inside and outside."

Final interior finishing and loose furnishings were among the last elements of the build phase, and now the yacht is afloat she will undergo commissioning, class and flag approval. Following delivery later this year, she is destined to head for the US where she will ply the waters between Florida and the Bahamas. A low draft of 2.10m and a range of 850 nautical miles at 20 knots make her ideal for crossing the Gulf Stream and exploring the islands.

"Ximena is this owner's first yacht, and he is very happy," added Çelik. "She is the perfect boat for the Caribbean and Miami - fast with a shallow draft, lots of crew space and a good gym. She is reminiscent of those classic raised pilothouse yachts, but at 43m she really stands out for her size. The boat is very aggressive looking, but overall very comfortable with big staterooms."

Alia at capacity

Full details, including a breathtaking interior from Kyiv-based Yodezeen, will be revealed in due course. In the meantime, Alia's busy build halls are at capacity with other bespoke yachts. The yard is expecting to launch a sleek 50m coupé project in October, and a 60m tri-deck yacht before the end of the year, bringing the total to more than 150m of tailor-made superyachtery in 2025.
