These accolades are unique because they are voted for by berth holders, meaning they reflect the real experiences of the boating community. It's fantastic to see such passion, dedication, and innovation across the winning marinas and individuals this year, and we congratulate them all on their achievements."

Speaking of his win, Ian Shakespeare of Cowes Yacht Haven, who clinched the Employee of the Year Award, commented: "I'm honestly humbled to receive this award. I've always just tried to do my bit to make life easier and more enjoyable for our berth holders and visitors, so to be recognised in this way is incredibly special. It's a real honour to work with such a great team and community."

Ian was recognised by berth holders for his friendly, helpful approach and dedication to going above and beyond.

With sustainability continuing to be a defining theme across the industry, Boatfolk - Haslar Marina was recognised as Sustainable Marina of the Year. Marina Manager Ben Lippiett explained what the award means to his team: "Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Haslar Marina. From supporting marine conservation projects to embracing cleaner technologies, we want to show that protecting the marine environment goes hand in hand with delivering a great customer experience. Winning this award is a proud moment for our whole team and a real encouragement to keep pushing forward."

The most coveted title of the event, the Overall Marina Team of the Year, was awarded to Jersey Marina, praised for its outstanding service, facilities, and ability to deliver a memorable experience both on and off the water. Marina Manager Michel Le Moine commented: "We are absolutely delighted to be named Overall Marina Team of the Year. This award is a huge achievement for our entire team, who work tirelessly to make Jersey Marina a welcoming and world-class destination for all our berth holders and visitors. To be recognised by the people who use our marina every day makes it even more meaningful, and we're incredibly proud to bring this recognition home to the island."

The ceremony concluded with a celebration on the TYHA stand, sponsored by IGY Marinas, where winners, sponsors, and attendees came together to raise a glass to marina excellence.

The TYHA Marina Awards 2025 once again demonstrated how the global marina community continues to innovate, inspire, and deliver world-class experiences for boaters everywhere.
