Henri-Lloyd will be making a high-profile return to the US market with the appointment of Big Weather Gear as its new retail partner.

The latest technical apparel collection from Henri-Lloyd will be showcased at the Newport International Boat Show. Consumers will be able to see the collection at Big Weather Gear's booth with special boat show pricing available for all online purchases. In addition, the show organisers will also all be kitted out in Henri-Lloyd's latest technical waterproof jackets and quick dry tops and shorts.

Big Weather Gear, headed by Jay Lasky, is headquartered in the sailing capital of the world in Newport, Rhode Island, with a large and well-established active lifestyle store. As well as catering for individuals, Big Weather Gear also offers services for businesses and teams to buy corporate and matching branded clothing.

Jay Lasky says:

"We are delighted to be announcing our appointment as US retail partner to Henri-Lloyd. Henri-Lloyd is one of the most iconic names in sailing, and bringing it back to Newport Rhode Island feels like the perfect homecoming. Our customers have been asking for gear that blends true performance with timeless style, and Henri-Lloyd delivers exactly that, from the deck of a racing yacht, long-distance voyages across the oceans and onshore in the yacht club or at home."

James Tinkler, International Sales Manager at Henri-Lloyd, said the company was celebrating its return to the US market:

"Henri-Lloyd was established over six decades ago from our home town in Manchester, which is still our company headquarters, and has always been a desired and successful brand in the US. Re-establishing a strong online and physical retail presence in the USA through Big Weather Gear is a fantastic opportunity. We're delighted this has all been agreed just in time to make the most of the Newport Boat Show, which will enable the latest Henri-Lloyd apparel to be shown to thousands of keen boaters."
