Visitor registration is now open for Metstrade (18-20 November), the most influential event in the leisure marine industry.

Metstrade 2025 will be the biggest show to date, with expanded halls, enhanced zones, over 1,600 exhibitors, and a carefully curated content plan to help navigate the changing leisure marine market and capitalise on opportunities. Metstrade is the go-to event to gain unparalleled access to international market insights, collaborate with new partners, build meaningful connections with fellow professionals from over 135 countries, and learn about the latest trends and innovations.

Superyacht Australia is thrilled to announce the launch of the Sydney Charter Show, to be held for the first time in 2026 at Sydney's Jones Bay Superyacht Marina. The exclusive, invitation-only two-day event, will be held on 22-23 February, creating a dedicated platform to showcase the superyacht charter industry across Australia and the South Pacific, while positioning Sydney Harbour as a premier global charter destination.

With exhibition space close to sold out and 150 delegates already registered; the Marina Industry Association (MIA) has commenced the planning of the Marinas26 conference content. Taking place every two years, the conference ensures delegates receive the most up to date information with respect to the economic environment and how it will affect the industry, industry data, trends and performance benchmarks as well as well as key legislative changes that require attention or have an impact on the industry.

Freedom Boat Club, the world's largest boat club, has announced its continued growth in New Zealand with the opening of a new location at Te Ana Marina in Lyttelton, Christchurch. This expansion is complemented by the launch of Freedom Local, a new membership tier designed to provide affordable, easy access to boating for Kiwis eager to explore the country's iconic coastlines and lakes.

The Excess dealer in Thailand, Primus Marine, has welcomed the arrival of the Excess 11, the first of its kind in the kingdom. The Primus Marine team cruised the cat cheerfully at a recent sea trial to test her performance at sea. The exciting news is that a brand-new Excess 14 is expected to arrive in Thailand in 2026. Back in Australia, the Whittley Boating Centre Perth, Western Australia's home of trailer boats, is set to release a six-strong new series of pressed and plate aluminium boats alongside the new Whittley Repower Division at this year's Perth Boat Show. This year's event is held 18-21 September at the Perth Exhibition Centre. Fantastic boat show deals accompany it on all Whittley Boats and Honda repower engine packages.
