The Secretary General of the Aegean and Island Policy, Emmanouil Koutoulakis, in his address at the Closing Ceremony, conveyed the greetings of Deputy Minister Stefanos Gikas, thanked the sailors who have embraced the Aegean Regatta all these years, the Race Committee for its admirable work, the co-organizing clubs, the municipalities of Lemnos, Agios Efstratios, and Mytilene for their cooperation, and finally the residents of the islands for their unique hospitality. He also referred to the benefits of the Aegean Regatta in supporting the islands, fostering connections among sailors from different regions, and offering crews the opportunity to experience island culture. He concluded by announcing: "Next year the Aegean Regatta will symbolically start from Volissos, Chios, an area that was suffered by devastating wildfires."

The Mayor of Mytilene, Panagiotis Christofas, congratulated all those who participated in the Aegean Regatta, not only as crew members on their boats, but also in the organization of the regatta.
