The 100-foot maxi Black Jack 100 has once again proven her dominance in offshore racing, securing Line Honours at the 20th edition of the Palermo-Montecarlo Regatta.

Crossing the finish line in 38:53.16, Black Jack 100, skippered by Tristan Le Brun and owned and helmed by Remon Vos, overcame fierce competition and challenging conditions on the 437-nautical mile course from Mondello (Palermo) to Monte Carlo.

This victory comes on the heels of another major triumph earlier this summer, when Black Jack 100 also took monohull Line Honours in the prestigious Rolex Fastnet Race. Together, these back-to-back achievements cement her reputation as one of the most formidable maxi yachts on the global offshore circuit.

The race, organized by Circolo della Vela Sicilia, in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco and Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, celebrated its 20th anniversary this year with a record-breaking international fleet of 41 yachts.

"This win is incredibly special. After our record-breaking performance in 2024, returning to defend our title in the anniversary edition makes this achievement even more memorable. At the Giardinia Rock we faced 40 knots of wind and a heavy downpour — a true test for boat and crew, which we passed with flying colors.," said owner Remon Vos.

"The Palermo-Montecarlo is a true test of endurance and teamwork. To take Line Honours again is a testament to the dedication of our crew," added skipper Tristan Le Brun.

"After setting the record in the Round Gothland and claiming line honours in the Rolex Fastnet Race, to take line honours here as well is truly special. With this boat, we haven't lost a single race this year. And if it's up to us, we're not stopping anytime soon. We're already looking forward to our next event the inaugural Cannes to Malta yacht race in October." said co-skipper Jelmer van Beek.

By claiming Line Honours, Black Jack 100 also receives the Giuseppe Tasca d'Almerita Trophy, awarded to the first yacht across the finish line. This victory adds to Black Jack 100's growing legacy, reinforcing her status as one of the most formidable offshore racing yachts in the Mediterranean and beyond.
