Cowes Week 2025

Cowes is a wrap but what a week it was!  Here are some highlights in case you missed the action.

Etchells on the water

Max helmed 'Palaver' for the first time at Cowes Week alongside experienced bowman and crew Felipe and Zhayne, plus coaches Nick Cherry and Martin Evans lending their support.

Scaramouche crew

We had a mixed crew of new and experienced boys and girls  on the flagship, giving everyone a chance to helm and trim.

Powering up on the Flying 15

Corneille joined Jessye on the Flying 15,which gave him the chance to transfer his knowledge to a boat that he hadn't raced before. They raced hard, overcame technical and tidal challenges along the way, and are determined to come back even stronger next season. Thank you to North Sails for stepping in to keep them sailing with a replacement spinnaker.

Musto: ready whatever the weather!

On Sunday we had a chance to thank Musto in person for their generous support with the full gang of GCA sailors proudly sporting their new wet weather kit.

Mingling: with a collection of friends, supporters, alumni and current students all in town for the racing, we held an impromptu meet up which gave an opportunity to share stories from the past,  racing results and forge new connections.
