At the new Marina di Ravenna shipyard, the first unit entered the water of the open model that expands the Itama range with revolutionary living areas for maximum relaxation and comfort on board.

The first Itama 54 was launched last July 11 at Ferretti Group's new production site in Ravenna. With this new model, the Itama range returns to the open cruiser runabout segment between 50 and 59 feet, offering next-level freedom both on board and at sea.

With a length of 16.44 metres and a beam of 4.73 metres, Itama 54 is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Group's Engineering Department. The interior design and exterior styling are by Tommaso De Luca.

Itama 54 features various aesthetic and functional innovations, which it combines magnificently with the brand's signature Italian style and elegance. The iconic lines rooted in Itama tradition are joined by brand new features, such as the large sun pad flush with the foredeck, which maintains the continuity of the silhouette, and the raked transom that streamlines the boat and gives it a remarkable sense of dynamism. The side windows are another new aesthetic feature, for the first time running the entire length of the cockpit to form an even sleeker and more eye-catching profile. Unlike previous models, the access point to the bow area is located on the starboard side: an innovative solution that makes the bow area easier to reach and allows the hatch to be left open, while ensuring access both to the bow area and below deck.

The layout of the decks features a series of innovations designed to ensure the ultimate in on-board comfort. The outdoor living area has been completely redesigned on Itama 54 to create a double cockpit containing two areas dedicated entirely to relaxation: the classic cockpit aft features a table that can be fitted with an up-down mechanism, while the second cockpit next to the windscreen offers an area sheltered from the wind and spray when cruising. Both cockpits are served by a large, functional bar unit on the port side. On the same side of the boat, the helm station is fitted with a comfortable pilot seat and an innovative floating dashboard.

The lower deck features a master cabin forward and a guest cabin midships, plus two bathrooms, a galley and a dinette.

The engines fitted to Itama 54 are from MAN's latest generation i6 line: a pair of MAN i6-730 engines (730 HP) in the standard version for a top speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots, and a pair of MAN i6-850 engines (850 HP) in the optional version for a maximum speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots (estimated performance).
