The third and final day of the event brought more champagne sailing with a moderate and shifting breeze, with three races scheduled everything was still to play for!

Dave and Rachel took the least points of the day, showcasing their prowess in changeable conditions by bagging two firsts and a third. It was also tight in the middle of the fleet, Colin and Harvey finished strongly in the final race although it was not quite enough to make it onto the podium.

After twelve races and two discards, Rob and Henry retained their title closely chased by Dave and Rachel in second, followed by Bob and Cecilia in third.

The event was supported by P&B who supply all spare parts for the ISO as well as new boats, including a fantastic hull only offer. P&B spot prizes of vouchers and merchandise went to: Colin and Harvey for their first place result on day 2, which was the best result for a Mk1 boat, and to Emilio and Elizabeth, who were the youngest team.

A massive thank you to all of the ISO sailors who joined us in the sunny South of France, Pinnell and Bax for supporting the event and providing spot prizes. The centre Nautique Biscarosse Olympique was a fantastic venue so a big thanks to them also for hosting us, and the race team for staging fun and fair racing.

We hope to see more ISO's on the start line for next year's event, which will be in Lake Maggiore, Italy! For more info about the friendly, forgiving and fast ISO Dinghy check out our Facebook page.
