RS Feva Worlds at Aix-les-Bains, France - Opening Ceremony

Welcome to Aix-les-Bains, France!

With registration complete, and Magic Marine rash vests collected, 170 boats are primed and ready, representing a thrilling union of fifteen countries.

The vibrant energy of 340 sailors, along with their parents, friends, coaches, volunteers, filled the streets of Aix les bains in a dazzling parade of national colours. Nations have united, rekindling old friendships and forging new ones, as the Feva family comes together to kick off the exhilarating 2025 World Championships!

At the opening ceremony Welcomes and thank you speeches were made by Karine Dubouchet - the Deputy Mayor, Sports Department. Christophe Chaffardon, the President of Club Nautique Voile d’Aix-les bains. Jon Partridge the DM of RS Sailing. Coaches Linda & Mathias, Nicole & Jean Luc two of our Judges and finally two Sailors FRA Maj Britt Lattanzio Elfstrom and GBR William West.

The International Class would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Zélie Gilbert and Alexis Littoz from CNVA for their efforts in preparing for the World Championships and the spectacularOpening Ceremony.

Champion of champions' big event blasted by 50kt + winds It was supposed to be the opening day of racing for the Endeavour Trophy today, but with relentless strong winds reaching over 50kts in the gusts, Edwin Buckley and his team had no option other than postpone the racing until tomorrow. P&B Northamptonshire Youth Series at Draycote
As ever the first timers received the most applause as their medals were awarded A bumper turnout of 41 sailors arrived at Draycote for round 4 of the Northampton Youth Series sponsored by Pinnell and Bax.
