With 3 races planned for and completed on day 2, clearly the overall positions were likely to change substantially.

The first race of the day saw Ed Bradburn/Holly Evans establish a good lead in the light and fickle conditions. Towards the end of the race Tom Gillard/Rachel Gray were steaming up behind. In a last minute ditched attempt to try to steal the win Gillard/Gray decided to drop the kite and tighten up to shortest point of the finish line. Bradburn/Evans held their nerve and flew their kite sacrificing distance for speed. This turned out to pay allowing Bradburn/Evans their first win of the championship with Gillard/Gray second and Stuart and Nick Hydon 3rd.

Race 2 of the day was again a line start in more breeze. The fleet headed for the favoured pin end which caused commotions when the tide pushed boats behind the line not allowing many to cross. Tim Fells/ Chris Allen looked to be in the perfect position only to take the pin mark away with their rudder! This enabled Bradburn/Evans to cross the line on port and lead around the first mark. Gillard/Gray pulled through the fleet to take second. Third place went to Nigel Hufton/Chris Whithouse.

Race 3 start was a re-run of Race 2 start with a number of boats struggling to cross the line. Fells/Allen looked to be away with a substantial lead only to be OCS. Gillard/Gray pulled their way through the fleet to lead giving them their first win of the champs, with Guy Brearey/Holly McArthur pulling through into second. The third position involved a lot of place changing, but it was Jon and Vicky Brickwood that pulled through to take that position after banging the right corner.
