Patric Mure, from Sweden, has become only the 11th person to reach the top of the OK Dinghy World Ranking list as he takes over the No.1 spot from Australia's Roger Blasse, who drops to fourth. Britain's Andy Davis and Nick Craig move up to second and third.

Coming shortly after the European Championship in Warnemünde, there has not been much change with only one new entry into the top 20 for Sweden's Daniel Björndahl following his bronze medal in Warnemünde. The only new entry to the top 10 is German's Sönke Behrens, up from 11th to ninth. The July 2025 list contains 699 sailors from 22 nations.

Only five additional events have taken place since the last ranking. Timothe Petetin won the Med Cup in Bandol, France from Pierre Arringi and Yvan Beckius. Germany's Stefan Hoffman won the Spring Cup in Medemblik from Sweden's Thomas Hansson-Mild and Stefan de Vries from The Netherlands. Kieler Woche was next with Sweden's Niklas Edler retaining the tile from Germany's Andre Budzien and Canada's Ben Flower

Despite winning the Europeans in Warnemünde, Britain's Charlie Cumbley drops outside the top 20 due to second year points reduction on other events. Flower took second with Björndahl third. Finally for this list, the British Nationals at West Mersea were won by Oliver Davenport from Flower and Richard Burton.

The results show that competition in the class is extremely tough with different winners at every major event this year. It would be fair to say that the completion is in fact at its highest level ever; no one is getting top results all the time, and no one achieved more than 1,000 points again, a clear indication of the high level.

However, the competition is about to get even harder, with the world championship on Garda just eight weeks away, with 160 entries already.
