The Opportunity

Are you a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a dynamic Technical Customer Service Specialist to become a key member of our busy team.

The successful candidate will have an interest in delivering quality customer service with a good understanding of the requirements of working in a technical, admin and support role. They should also have excellent communication skills with a clear and confident manner along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times. The ability to liaise effectively with other departments is essential, as is the ability to plan own work effectively using excellent time management and organisational skills.

The role will suit a proactive multiskilled person looking to join an established and forward-thinking company. A keen interest/understanding in the marine leisure market is essential. Technical product training will be given on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will also be expected to join the team in promoting our services and products, representing the company at boat and trade shows.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Respond promptly and professionally to customer and in-house queries, ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations.
  • Support the Sales Team: Assist our technical sales representatives with both technical and non-technical enquiries, sharing responsibility of converting quotes into orders.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with colleagues in other teams, being supportive, sharing information and ideas to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Take Initiative: Plan and prioritise your own workload, using excellent time management and organisational skills to stay ahead in a busy environment.
  • Grow With Us: Participate in ongoing technical product training and represent the company at boat show stands, showcasing your expertise and enthusiasm.
