Global Marine Business Advisors strengthens team with Marine Certification Expert Ulrich Heinemann

Global Marine Business Advisors (GMBA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ulrich (Uli) Heinemann as its newest consultant, a decision driven by the industry's need for specialized skills in yacht certification, marine engineering, and regulatory expertise.

Uli brings more than five decades of experience and technical acumen in marine engineering and yacht certification. With an impressive academic background from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by extensive professional achievements, Uli has significantly impacted international maritime standards and yacht design practices globally.

His expertise includes over two decades as Managing Director of the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) plus leadership roles within ISO and CEN standards committees. As founder and leader of Heinemann-Yacht-Assessment, Uli has consistently advanced yacht certification, safety standards, and innovation.

GMBA identified Uli's appointment as vital in addressing growing global market needs in yacht safety, regulatory compliance, and maritime engineering excellence. His role will undoubtedly enhance GMBA's capability to offer comprehensive guidance in yacht certification and marine industry standards.
