Damen Yachting is proud to announce the launch of the first Amels 80, the latest addition to the highly successful Amels Limited Editions range. This milestone marks the debut of a groundbreaking and all-new 80-metre superyacht design that redefines modern luxury. This is a bold new chapter in the Limited Editions story, where craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability meet in perfect harmony.

Amels 80 is a superyacht shaped by nature, driven by innovation, and brought to life through generations of craftsmanship. Designed for Owners who look for more than just beauty, she delivers a unique blend of performance, sophistication, and enduring quality. This is a superyacht where heritage and forward-thinking design converge in a true evolution in the Amels lineage.

The build of this first Amels 80 has been managed by Burgess on behalf of the Owner following her sale in 2022, just six months after the introduction of the new Amels 80 design.

Sean Bianchi, Partner and Head of Burgess Technical Services: "We are delighted to see Amels 80, hull number 01 depart her construction dock and enter the commissioning and sea trials phase. This milestone marks the culmination of close collaboration between Damen Yachting, Sinot, and the Owner's team in crafting a yacht that is truly one of a kind.

As the first 80m Limited Editions, this yacht has evolved into something truly extraordinary through the Owner's vision and meticulous input. With her striking exterior lines and a bespoke interior like no other, we are proud to support both the Owner and the shipyard in bringing Amels 80, hull number 01 to life. Upon delivery, she is set to become an icon — instantly recognisable by her distinctive paintwork and exceptional design."

Damen Yachting's Adriaan Roose, Product Design Manager for the Amels 80 series, played a vital role in ensuring the build exceeded the Client's expectations, and that their desired customisations were implemented.

Adriaan Roose, Product Design Manager, Amels: "The Amels 80 offered the client many custom options whilst still benefitting from the shortened delivery time. This yacht is the ultimate balance of individuality and efficiency."

A vision by the industry's best

With exterior design by Espen Øino, one of the world's most celebrated superyacht designers, the Amels 80 captures the very essence of contemporary elegance.

Espen Øino, Exterior Designer: "The Amels 80 represents a significant step forward in yacht design. It is a harmonious blend of form and function, designed to offer an exceptional experience on the water with refined elegance."

The interior, the result of a first-time collaboration between Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and Amels, is a sanctuary of calm refinement. It features fluid transitions between spaces, natural materials have been championed, and a soft, neutral palette encases the occupants in the highest levels of luxury.

Paul Costerus, Designer Interior at Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design:

"The Amels 80 marks the first collaboration between Sinot and Amels. A project which provided us with the opportunity to develop something truly unique. You will feel at home from the moment you step on board."

A new standard of sustainable performance

Engineered with a hybrid propulsion system, the Amels 80 enables reduced emissions, quieter operations, and greater cruising efficiency. This is yachting with a conscience, combining the best of proven technology and forward-looking innovations that will endure into the future.

Crafted for the journey

The Amels 80 has a gross tonnage of 2,175 GT and accommodates 14 guests across 7 luxurious suites, supported by a crew of 21. The design features a foredeck helipad, 200-square-metre Sun Deck, private Owner's Deck, 6.5-metre swimming pool, and a spacious Beach Club, complete with spa, sauna, gym, hammam, and massage room, underscoring the focus on wellness and relaxation.

She has been built to venture across oceans, inspire generations, and withstand the tests of time.
