Musto's EVO Spring/Summer 2025 Collection is Here

Musto's original Evolution Collection was first introduced in 2007 and over time has evolved into one of the British heritage performance brand's best-selling ranges. Now the collection has been given a major refresh for the upcoming Spring/Summer sailing season. A new name, shortened to just EVO, brings new designs and styles featuring technical fabrics to enhance performance and comfort.

Staying true to the Evolution identity, our new EVO Collection features highly technical fabrics to provide comfort and performance, on or off the water," said Musto Marketing Director, Nick Houchin.

The EVO Crew range is perfect for sailing teams who want to kit out their crew in branded apparel that will protect them from the elements - whether spray, rain or sun - and look smart. The styles are designed in sleek, modern silhouettes, with plenty of space for team branding.
Firstly, the mid-layer range for men and women offer the EVO Crew Softshell jacket and the EVO Crew Softshell vest that can act as a great warm windbreaker.
The EVO Crew Sunblock range utilises fabric that is rated UPF50, blocking harmful ultraviolet rays and is infused with ground jade mineral for an active cooling effect next to skin. The 74% polyester face is fast drying and the 26% polyamide material is super wicking, making it perfect for multiple on and off the water pursuits. The sunblock range includes short-sleeve and long-sleeve T-shirts and polos for a slightly smarter look.
Then there is the EVO Pro-Lite Short Sleeve T-Shirt which offers many of the same proprietary features but uses 45% recycled polyester with 55% polyester, weighs 175gm, and offers a 4-way stretch for ease of movement.
On to the legwear range of trousers, shorts, and a skort, but the real work-horse here is the new EVO Performance Stretch Trouser. It has a modern aesthetic, a revised articulated fit, and sleek design with less weight and reduced bulk. Elasticated side panels and belt loops ensure it is a functional fit whilst the fabric (95% FD Nylon, 5% Spandex) offers a 2-way warp stretch, UPF50, wicking and fast drying. The seat, knee and back hem are reinforced and a coated backer prevents water ingress.
The EVO Sport range is pushing the boundaries of clothing design, using innovative fabrics and product designs for multiple sporting disciplines.
The EVO Venture 3-layer jacket is a jacket that can stand up to the elements, essential for those who spend time in the great outdoors. The men's waterproof jacket (available early May) is made with a 3-layer construction that promotes great breathability whilst resisting water or wind penetration. Mechanical four-way stretch within the fabric allows for excellent freedom of movement and the hood can be adjusted for comfort.
Zipped pockets to each side provide good storage capacity and the jacket comes complete with a handy external hanging loop. The aesthetic is finished with reflective details, to support your visibility to others in low light conditions.
This garment comes with Musto's Ocean Tech performance HH rating (hydrostatic head) of 5,000-19,000mm a measure of how much water pressure a fabric can withstand. The EVO Lite Rain Jacket, at a lower price point, has the same HH rating with a two-layer construction and fully taped seams.
