The most exciting racing on water will return to the French Riviera, with SailGP confirming today the addition of Saint-Tropez to the 2025 Season Calendar.

Unfolding September 12-13, 2025, the ROCKWOOL France Sail Grand Prix will be the first of two events in a multi-year hosting agreement between SailGP, local municipality Ville de Saint-Tropez and Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez.

SailGP Managing Director, Andrew Thompson said, "We're delighted to confirm the Rolex SailGP Championship will return to Saint-Tropez - rounding out an incredible line-up of host venues in Europe and across the globe. Saint-Tropez has been home to some of the most exciting racing in SailGP history and certainly one of the most glamorous, so we have no doubt this year's event will be no exception."

Title Partner of the idyllic stopover in the south of France, ROCKWOOL Group Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs, Mirella Vitale said, "ROCKWOOL is excited to partner with SailGP to deliver what will surely be one of the memorable events in the 2025 calendar, in Saint-Tropez."

Vitale adds: "France is an important market for ROCKWOOL, and one that we have been present in for more than four decades. We look forward to showcasing ROCKWOOL solutions and connecting with our important stakeholders in one of Europe's most iconic spots."

Marking the global racing championship's fourth visit to Saint-Tropez, the ROCKWOOL France Sail Grand Prix will bring together the very best of high-speed, high-tech racing and world-class on-shore entertainment - all set in one of Europe's most iconic destinations. This year's event will be no exception, with close-to-shore stadium race viewing, entertainment and premium hospitality all on offer - more details on ticketed categories to follow.

Mayor of Saint-Tropez, Sylivie Siri said: "I am delighted to welcome the French event of the prestigious SailGP international championship back to Saint-Tropez - hosting this competition for the fourth time is an immense source of pride for our city. For two days, our magnificent bay will be the setting for one of the most spectacular sailing competitions, where speed, technicality and innovation come together to offer a unique experience to spectators, both enthusiasts and novices."

The addition of Saint-Tropez finalizes the 2025 Season calendar of the Rolex SailGP Championship. The event replaces the Italian Sail Grand Prix following changes at the Taranto City Council late last year. Saint-Tropez will be the 10th stop of the season, setting the stage for a pivotal battleground in the race to the Grand Final in Abu Dhabi - with all 12 national teams out to maximize every point in the fight for the largest cash prize in the sport of sailing. The event will be the first time the France SailGP Team race in front of a home crowd in nearly two years, with driver Quentin Delappiere out to defend his top-speed record - 99.99 km/h, recorded in Saint-Tropez in Season 3.
