Now in its 18th year, the 2025 edition of Convergence - the annual event for captains and chief engineers of Ferretti Group yachts - is being hosted in alluring Bangkok.

The event brings together over 100 industry professionals for three days of technical updates, discussions and team building opportunities.

The proceedings will be officially kicked off on February 26, providing the opportunity to report on the Group's recent successes, present new models and explore the latest product innovations. In the afternoon, there will be an interesting team building activity involving an exclusive visit to the Grand Palace, one of the historical and cultural symbols of the Thai capital.

The training programme this year will be dedicated to yachting safety: "New Challenges in Yachting Safety: Adapting to Emerging Risks, New Technologies, and Changing Scenarios". Taking part in this session will be noted experts including Andrea Venturelli (RINA Manager Italy Yachting Plan Approval), Enrico Della Valentina (Senior Project Manager and Yacht Team Leader at MARIN - Maritime Research Institute of the Netherlands), Steve Clinch (Director at Clinchmaritime Ltd and ex-Chief Inspector of the UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch) and Ulrich Heinemann (Heinemann Yacht Assessment and ex-Managing Director at International Marine Certification Institute - IMCI). The panel will be moderated by Lucy Dunn, Content Director of BOAT International Media.

Also scheduled are multiple team activities to discover magnificent temples, teeming local markets and other iconic spots in Bangkok. The event is planned to end on February 28.

This year too, Convergence will enjoy support from its high-powered main sponsors RINA, Sleipner, Volvo Penta and Xenta, and from technical sponsors Amare, Asea, MTU, Nanni and Seakeeper.

Ferretti After-Sales Services will be taking part with their own permanent technical corner, offering participants detailed information about their exclusive customer services.

"For us, Convergence is a vitally important opportunity to get together and talk. "Our" captains are the Group's eighth wonder and we owe them, their professionalism and their expertise a debt of gratitude and attention, and occasions like this are invaluable for mutual training. Ferretti Group invests in solutions that not only aim to improve owners' yachting experience but also provide increasingly advanced and efficient tools to meet the specific needs and expectations of these extraordinary professionals," commented Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.
