The seventh yacht in the Amels 60 series is heading into her final build stage before delivery in early summer 2025 with plans set for a spectacular launch.

Damen Yachting is proud to announce the grand reveal of the Amels 6007. This significant milestone in the build of the seventh yacht from this next generation Amels Limited Editions design, took place at their principal shipyard, located in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.

The Amels 60 Limited Editions showcases a forward-thinking design based on the solid foundation of craftsmanship and the proven platform of Damen Yachting's naval architecture. The exterior design is the work of Espen Øino International, and combines experience, elegance and innovation.

Chris Callahan, spokesperson for Moran Yacht & Ship: "As representatives of the Owner, we are thrilled to reach this significant milestone as the project accelerates towards its summer delivery. Despite our involvement beginning relatively recently, we are delighted that the Owner was able to infuse many personal elements into the yacht, transforming it into a true home. It is also fantastic to see that many of the customisations and platform improvements our team implemented into ENTOURAGE (Hull 6002) have been carried through to subsequent builds, including 6007. On behalf of our entire organisation, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the talented craftsmen and the Owner's team on this remarkable achievement."

Scope for personal touches Unique to this Amels 60 are the custom interiors which have been designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, marking the first collaboration with the London-based Studio on an Amels. The result is a contemporary and welcoming style that provides a refined take on beach house luxury, where natural materials and a clever use of detailing ensure a warm and tactile finish. The evolved interior design delivers a warm environment with varied textures and colorways.

Joppe Osté, Damen Yachting Project Manager of the Amels 60, shares what this important build milestone means for the project team and the shipyard. "One year ago this Amels 60 arrived at our shipyard here in the Netherlands for outfitting. All of the work over the last 12 months has been building up to this very moment and we are incredibly proud to see and be part of this yacht's launch. It's an important moment for all the Damen Yachting team but also our co-makers and of course for the Owner. We are now fully focused on the final build phase so that we can ensure this yacht is ready for the lifetime at sea that she was built to enjoy."

The Amels 60 interior comprises 335 square metres (3,605 sq ft) and its well-balanced volume of 853 GT can showcase any individual vision. This level of freedom is one of the great benefits of the Amels Limited Editions approach. After the launch, this Amels 60 will undergo her final outfitting at the Damen Yachting shipyard, before delivery to her Owner just before summer 2025.
