Avikus, HD Hyundai's specialized Autonomous Navigation Technology subsidiary, announced today its innovative smart navigation and docking solution NEUBOAT Dock II has been awarded the 2025 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show Innovation Award in the Consumer Electronics, Mobile Applications and Software category.

Organized by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and judged by members of Boating Writers International (BWI), the awards recognize innovative distinction from other products currently being manufactured, benefit to the marine industry and consumers, practicality and cost-effectiveness. The awards were announced during the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show's Industry Breakfast, presented by the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, held at the Miami Beach Convention Center on February 13, 2025.

The Avikus NEUBOAT Dock II is designed for yachts over 40-feet in length, consisting of a six-camera system based on Avikus' advanced autonomous vessel technology. It offers a comprehensive 3D surround view, along with individual camera perspectives, to ensure safe and precise maneuvers during docking and navigation in confined spaces. Users can seamlessly pan around the 360-degree view, enhancing situational awareness and facilitating confident navigation in tight environments.

NEUBOAT Dock II estimates the exact distance from boats to nearby non-water objects and triggers an alarm if the distance falls below 16-feet (five meters). A dynamic virtual bumper will be activated on the sections of the vessel that are closest to non-water objects. It is the only system on the market that can be calibrated in the water, eliminating the need for costly haul outs and can be easily retrofitted to fit almost any vessel. In addition, the innovative hardware solution includes USB-C and HDMI connections making NEUBOAT Dock II manufacturer agnostic, allowing the system to integrate with a variety of displays or PCs.

"We are so very grateful to the NMMA, BWI and the judges for selecting the NEUBOAT Dock II for this coveted award," said Dohyeong Lim, CEO of Avikus. "We are consistently striving to make boating easier, more enjoyable and safer overall through the use of our technology. NEUBOAT Dock II was a natural next step for our team to continue leading the charge in the autonomous boating space and we're so proud that the Innovation Award judges agree."

"Avikus' NEUBOAT Dock II eases one of the most stressful and difficult phases of boating. Their polished user interface delivers critical information and has this judge looking forward to what Avikus will deliver in the future," said judge Ben Stein.
