Secure your spot at BIA's International Women's Day Celebration

by Boating Industry Association 18 Feb 06:41 GMT 2 March 2025

With a little over two weeks to go, now is the time to secure your spot and celebrate International Women's Day with the Boating Industry Association!

On Thursday 6 March, BIA invites marine industry professionals to an inspiring waterfront event in Sydney and the Gold Coast. Enjoy drinks, canapés, and valuable networking with like-minded colleagues.

You will hear from keynote speakers Dr Suzy Green and Jo Porter from The Positivity Institute. Their session, "You've Got This: Navigating Your Future with Confidence", will provide practical tools to help you harness the power of confidence, courage, and clarity, whilst sharing science-backed strategies to overcome self-doubt, embrace opportunities, and trust that your future self has got your back.

Plus, we're proudly supporting Dress for Success, raising funds to help women re-enter the workforce.

There will be goodie bags for all guests and the opportunity to take part in a raffle with some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

Our Sydney event will be hosted by Tracy Souris, BIA Director, Women in Boating Chair and Manager of Sydney Boathouse, and Karen Baldwin, BIA Director and CEO of Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, will lead the Gold Coast event.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect and celebrate all the incredible women and their supporters in our industry.
