The Snipe Class Italy announces an exciting 2025 racing season with a calendar full of unmissable events, culminating in the Open Italian Nationals in Porto Rotondo, scheduled for October.

Throughout the season, the best Italian teams will compete across the country, with a level of competition that continues to rise year after year. Each event will also serve as an opportunity for social gatherings and camaraderie, key elements in strengthening the bond among participants and promoting the spirit of the class.

Among the main competitions of 2025, notable events include the Regatta Nazionale in Rapallo on April 5-6, the Luino Regatta on May 3-4, the Italian Masters Nationals in Caldonazzo from June 13-15, the Regata Nazionale in Giulianova on July 5-6, the Italian Juniors & Under 30 Nationals in Riccione on August 30-31, and the Regatta Nazionale in San Vincenzo on September 20-21.

The grand finale will take place from October 2-5 with the much-anticipated Open Italian Nationals in Porto Rotondo. This edition will mark a historic milestone for the Class, as it will be the first national event ever held in Sardinia. This achievement is the result of the dedicated efforts of the local Snipe fleet, which in recent years has done a great job in promoting the Snipe dinghy on the island. Today, Sardinia boasts 10 active boat owners, a clear sign of the class’s growth in that region. The Porto Rotondo event will not only be a high-level competition but also an opportunity to welcome teams from around the world. Interest from international teams has already been expressed, indicating that the event will have a global dimension and further enhance the class’s prestige. The race area, the ideal sea and wind conditions, and Sardinian hospitality will provide the perfect setting for what promises to be an unforgettable event.

Further updates on competitions and activities of the Italian Snipe Class can be found on the official website snipe.it.
