General Recall for the World Diam Tour Caribbean 2025

It was in 2022, in Saint Martin, that three bold sailors took a gamble by bringing in three Diam 24od trimarans. The fleet quickly grew, with two additional one-design boats bringing the total to five, paving the way for the organization of regattas starting in 2023. The very first WDT Caribbean Challenge saw this initial fleet compete, soon joined by a sixth crew.

Since then, the development of the series in the Caribbean has accelerated. Strategic rentals have attracted new sailors — local talents, young prospects from neighboring islands, and American competitors — all drawn to the thrilling sensations offered by these high-performance multihulls. Racing on the Diam 24od, a strict one-design boat where crew skill is paramount, has rapidly sparked new enthusiasm and passion for the class.

By 2025, the third season of the WDT Caribbean is well under way. With training sessions and early preparatory regattas completed, the competition is heating up. Following the Course de l'Alliance, the second major event, the Caribbean Multihull Challenge, takes place from January 30th to February 2nd, featuring four days of intense racing.

The next highlight will be the renowned Heineken Regatta, running from March 6th to 9th. No fewer than 12 Diam24od are expected, promising a spectacular showdown. With the trade winds back and the top three crews from the WDT France 2024 on the starting line, the conditions are set for thrilling and highly competitive races.

A stunning spectacle, reflecting the rapid rise of this dynamic fleet in Caribbean waters, awaits sailors and spectators alike.

World Diam Tour France 2025: a renewed and optimized circuit Diam24od!

The 2025 WDT France season promises to be an unmissable event for all Diam 24od enthusiasts. The program includes six regattas spread across Brittany, featuring two new iconic locations: Brest and Saint-Malo.

Two new destinations to explore
This year, Saint-Malo Bay joins the circuit thanks to the Yacht Club de Saint Lunaire. This legendary privateer destination, gateway to Mont-Saint-Michel and the Chausey Islands, provides a stunning backdrop for unforgettable racing.

Brest, on the other hand, solidifies its central role in the development of the Diam 24od class by hosting the 4 Vents Cup as part of the WDT France. The Diam 24od continues to attract new teams to established sailing hubs. The addition of the new Team French Touch Océan Club, based in Brest, to the 2025 circuit confirms the growing appeal of this exciting format and promises competitive, high-energy regattas.

A decidedly "econological" approach
Designed with input from sailors' feedback, the 2025 circuit embraces an "econological" approach, combining economy, ecology, and logic. Two maritime transfers will reduce road travel, while a shared truck will transport all boats, minimizing environmental impact and logistical costs. This model, successfully tested in 2024, is here to stay and represents a modern, responsible vision of competitive sailing.

A calendar of technical challenges and exceptional scenery for an exciting season
From La Trinité-sur-Mer to Saint-Philibert, via the Crozon Peninsula, Saint-Malo Bay, and the Rhuys Peninsula to close the season, each stop on the 2025 WDT promises a perfect blend of tactical racing waters and breathtaking landscapes.

Spanning from April to November, these regattas will offer crews a season filled with performance, camaraderie, and discovery.

With this new format, the World Diam Tour France 2025 will be faster, simpler, and above all, even more exciting. A large turnout of teams is expected for what promises to be a fiercely contested season!
