Re-arranged Wayfarer Finale and "Classic" Nationals at Bough Beech Sailing Club as part of the Craftinsure National Circuit

The eagerly anticipated 2024 Craftinsure National Circuit Wayfarer Finale, postponed from last year, is set to take place at Bough Beech Sailing Club on the 8th and 9th of March 2025. This event will not only incorporate the "classic" Wayfarer Nationals, where the prestigious Nipegegi trophy will be up for grabs for the first wooden or Non MK IV Wayfarer, but it will also serve as the decider for the 2024 Craftinsure National Circuit and Travellers Trophy.

Bough Beech Sailing Club has a rich history of hosting the Wayfarer Finale, making it a firm favourite among the Wayfarer racing community. The 2023 Finale, held in November, saw a competitive fleet of locals and travellers battling it out in challenging conditions. Similarly, the 2022 Finale brought together top teams from across the UK, concluding the season with thrilling races.

This year's postponed event promises to be just as exciting, with sailors having the opportunity to practice at the club beforehand as part of the Bough Beech Icicle Series, which is currently running throughout January and February. This series offers a perfect warm-up for competitors looking to fine-tune their skills ahead of the main event.

In addition to the Wayfarer Finale, the first open event of the 2025 Craftinsure National Circuit will be held at Datchet Water on the 5th and 6th of April. This marks the beginning of another exciting season of Wayfarer racing, following the conclusion of the 2024 circuit at Bough Beech.

We look forward to welcoming all competitors and spectators to Bough Beech for what promises to be a memorable event to close out our 2024 National Circuit.
