At Contest Yachts, the Netherland's premiere semi-custom yacht builder, we're delighted and proud to announce that the gorgeous, newly launched 19-metre Contest 63CS has just won the prestigious title European Yacht of the Year 2025. Judged by Europe's top yachting editors from across twelve nations, the award was presented on the opening night of boot Düsseldorf, Europe's largest of all boat shows, where the Contest 63CS can be viewed through to Sunday 26 January.

Of the dozens of new sailboats launched yearly, only the exceptional receive such recognition for this most prestigious of yachting awards, often referred to as the Oscars of Yachting.

At Contest Yachts we've always seen sailing as a way of defining and expressing one's own dreams and ambitions, and the Contest 63CS again exemplifies this so well. Designed for hassle-free friends and family, luxury performance in the lightest to heaviest weathers, her graceful, well-set, balanced lines come from top naval architects judel/vrolijk & co, with interior styling by superyacht stars Wetzels Brown.

And, of course, there's the Contest guarantee of the highest standards in marine engineering, composite construction, and contemporary outfitting. This new, and now awarded design, also innovates further with a new approach to shared social space and seating around the large aft deck, and rare at this size, identical book-fold, half-beam guest suites forward of the saloon. Exquisite, we say at Contest, and clearly the EYOTY judges agree!

We'll look forward to welcoming Düsseldorf visitors on our stand, Hall16/C54, where we're also exhibiting our previous EYOTY-winning Contest 55CS, and 49CS. Shipyard viewings in Medemblik, NL and Palma, Mallorca are also welcomed.
