Protected me from cold wind before and after paddle. I was able to change from wet clothes while wearing the coat as well. Love all the pockets - great to stash the keys, protein bars, etc for after the paddle. Comfortable to wear and stylish enough! I traveled with this coat as well - I wrapped my paddle with this coat, and it was compact and light enough to fit into my paddle bag.

Winter walks to and from gym - always windy, often rainy, sometimes snowy - the Beach Coat is snug over shorts and t-shirt. Big zip pockets inside and out offer convenient security for your stuff. Looking forward to serious comfort pre and post-row this spring.

 I've had the beach coat for a short time, as a liveaboard I have found it great for wearing while I drink my morning coffee or the wet walk up to the shower. Looking forward to putting on my wetsuit, rigging the Laser and after a sail putting on something warm and dry while putting it away.
