The Progressive Cleveland Boat Show, organized by the Ohio Marine Trades Association, is thrilled to announce a landmark event celebrating the 150th anniversary of the iconic Lyman Boat Works. Visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to explore a comprehensive exhibit chronicling the company's rich history from Thursday, January 16 through Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Established in 1875, Lyman Boat Works became a household name and celebrated for its superior craftsmanship and innovative designs. During World War II, the company played a critical role in producing vessels for military use, contributing significantly to the nation's war efforts. With dealers in every continental state, Lyman Boats became a fixture on waterways across America, especially the Great Lakes, fostering a deep nostalgic connection that endures today.

This extraordinary exhibit will showcase a vast collection of historic Lyman Boats and artifacts preserved by renowned Lyman Boat restorer, historian and author, Tom Koroknay, who acquired the entirety of Lyman's wooden boat production assets in the 1980s. Stored meticulously for decades in Lexington, Ohio, these treasures—including vintage boats, original blueprints and rare artifacts will be unveiled to honor how profoundly Lyman Boat Works impacted American maritime history.

"This is more than an exhibit, it's a heartfelt tribute to a legacy that shaped boating history and touched the lives of countless individuals," said Michelle Burke, President of the Ohio Marine Trades Association.

In an exciting continuation of the Lyman legacy, brand new Lyman Boats will also be on display and available for purchase. These modern vessels carry forward the timeless design and superior craftsmanship that made Lyman Boats a household name, offering enthusiasts the chance to own a piece of living history. "We're honored to bring this exclusive collection to the public for the first time. The inclusion of new Lyman Boats for sale adds an exciting dimension, allowing people to be part of the brand's ongoing story," continued Burke.

Visitors will also experience interactive displays, live performances and a store featuring a curated selection of exclusive memorabilia, books and souvenirs available for purchase. Don't miss this exclusive chance to witness the legacy of Lyman Boat Works—a cornerstone of

American boating heritage that continues to resonate with boating enthusiasts and families across the nation. For additional event information including show hours, FAQs, ticket sales and more, visit www.clevelandboatshow.com.
