Good breeze and entries for the Sailing Chandlery Datchet Flyer

There's a good, moderately breezy forecast for the Sailing Chandlery Datchet Flyer this weekend, 7 & 8 December. There are already more than 50 entries of all shapes and sizes, ranging from a 2.4mR to a foiling Waszp, and many more conventional dinghies in between.

Last year's winner in a Musto Skiff, and now reigning World Champion in the singlehanded trapeze boat, Sam Pascoe is this time crewing for son Benjamin in a 2000 doublehander while Sam's sister Megan Pascoe is racing her 2.4mR keelboat. To join the Pascoe family and all the other competitors...

Following the enforced postponement (until January 2025) of the Fernhurst Books Draycote Dash, thanks to Storm Bert last month, Datchet Water will be the first opportunity for competitors to go up against each other in this nine-event series across the winter.
