The Viking Explorers Rally is excited to announce a new partnership with Island Cruising as an Official Partner for the upcoming rally seasons. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both organizations, enhancing the experience for the Viking Rally participants who are heading on further afield to the South West Pacific.

Island Cruising runs the popular Pacific Rally. Covering everything sailors need to know when cruising through Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and on to either New Zealand or Australia and even up to Japan if they wish.

The rally offers flexibility with dates and destinations and includes everything sailors need to know when cruising through the South West Pacific. They have fun events, provide some great discounts with their rally partners, and provide detailed information about all the formalities and other important information cruisers need to know when sailing this part of the world.

This partnership means that the Viking Explorers Rally participants wishing to travel further afield have the ability to connect with another like minded rally in the Pacific. Island Cruising will provide special offers for Viking Explorer Rally participants.

“We are thrilled to welcome Island Cruising to the Viking Explorers Rally family,” said Carlota Texeira, Marketing Director of the Viking Explorers Rally. “Their commitment to quality and service and being voted the best rally in the South Pacific by the Global Marine Tourism Awards in 2024 means we know our rally participants will be in good hands if they decide to continue on their sailing adventures in the South Pacific.”

The 8th edition of the Viking Explorers Rally is set to kick off on the 8th of December 2024 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and will end in Grenada on the 8th of February 2025. Participants can look forward to an exciting itinerary filled with seminars, social activities, and opportunities to connect with fellow sailors.
