The Draycote Water Sailing Club race officials and safety team have been monitoring the weather forecast throughout the week. With Storm Bert set to lash the UK this weekend with heavy rain and strong winds, they have confirmed that the Fernhurst Books Draycote Dash will be postponed to 4/5 January 2025.

Entries will be automatically transferred to the new date 4/5 January 2025. If you cannot make the new date, you can transfer your entry to another 2024/25 Seldén Sailjuice Winter Series event (no fee), or request a full refund (£5 admin fee).

The first GJW Direct Coaching Session went ahead last night and was well attended. Triple Series Champion, Simon Horsfield shared some of his secrets for winning in these big multi-class events. The RYA video from the 2023 Dash with Tom Morris (Mozzy), Endeavour Trophy winner and national champion from various classes, set the scene. The GJW Direct Coaching video will be available shortly on the Seldén Sailjuice Winter Series website.
