Dockmate, the leading manufacturer of advanced wireless remote controls for yachts, announced today its collaboration with MOLABO, innovator in safe-to-touch low-voltage electric propulsion systems. The award-winning MOLABO inboard and outboard solutions incorporate components such as batteries, charger, controllers, motor and throttle all in one easy-to-install system, which is ideal for integration with the Dockmate system.

"After a number of recent exciting announcements introducing new features for our highly regarded Dockmate system, such as DPS V2, we are thrilled to collaborate with MOLABO to give even greater functionality and flexibility to customers," said Dirk Illegems, president, Dockmate. "We know that boaters that embrace the high-powered, safe and environmentally friendly MOLABO electric propulsion will appreciate the added capabilities of Dockmate products giving captains proportional control of the MOLABO propulsion system from anywhere on the vessel."

"The flexibility of a modular system is the heart of our ability to offer inboard and outboard propulsion for a wide variety of vessels, both commercial and recreational," said Adrian Patzak, Managing Director, MOLABO. "Dockmate is plug-and-play compatible with our controllers and throttles, making it the perfect complement and offers owners unprecedented control that will make low-speed maneuvering so intuitive."

Since its foundation in 2016, MOLABO has developed from a visionary idea at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich into an innovation leader for electric motors. What sets MOLABO apart is its focus on touch-safe high-performance drives that do not require complex high-voltage safety measures, even at outputs of 50 kW. Thanks to this technology, MOLABO has made a name for itself in the marine industries with numerous awards.
