VETUS Maxwell US and Mastry Engine Center, both part of YANMAR's Recreational Marine Business Unit, are proud to announce a new factory-backed thruster installation program, bringing advanced manoeuvrability and control to boaters. Announced at the International Boatbuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) 2024, the collaboration enables customers to have VETUS's high-performance thrusters integrated into their vessels with the confidence of Mastry's expert installation and the assurance of a three-year warranty.

Boaters now have access to VETUS's full thruster line-up, including the innovative BOW PRO series, which provides proportional control, maintenance-free brushless motors, and unlimited runtime with patented smart charging technology. With Mastry's installation support, owners can expect seamless performance whether their vessel is a 26-foot runabout or a 130-foot yacht.

"At Mastry, we are dedicated to enhancing the boating experience. This partnership allows us to give customers complete control and confidence on the water," said Kevin Carlan, President of Mastry Engine Center.

Chris DeBoy, President of VETUS Maxwell US, added: "Our collaboration with Mastry means boaters gain access to industry-leading technology with unmatched reliability and service."

Unlike traditional thrusters with only on/off modes, VETUS BOW PRO thrusters allow captains to precisely adjust thrust levels. A standout feature is the lock-and-hold capability, which enables boaters to hold their vessel steady, offering extra time for docking and handling lines.

The VETUS BOW PRO thrusters integrate easily with joystick docking systems like Honda-Ultraflex, Mercury Marine's Joystick Piloting for Outboards (JPO), Yamaha's Helm Master® EX, and YANMAR's JC20 Inboard Joystick Control System, ensuring precise, intuitive handling.
