The International Electric & Marine Association (IEMA) is thrilled to announce its new partnership with UKi Media & Events, the owner and organizer of the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo.

Through this exciting collaboration, IEMA has been granted exclusive 'Trade Association Partner' status. This global partnership, officially launching at the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo from June 24-26, 2025, at the RAI Exhibition Venue in Amsterdam, aims to drive positive change and innovation in the electrification of the maritime industry.

The Trade Association Partnership between IEMA and the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo will create a collaborative environment for professionals across the maritime electrification space. Through IEMA's established work and connections, at the Expo they will provide the perfect interface between the private sector and their innovative technologies and government offices and municipalities as well as worldwide ports and infrastructure.

IEMA will support a series of compelling events, including educational seminars, expert panels, and engaging discussions, to promote knowledge-sharing among industry leaders and practitioners alike. Additionally, the event in 2025 will feature IEMA's Annual General Meeting, allowing members to connect, share insights, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of maritime electrification.

IEMA President, Adria Jover, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership: "Our collaboration with UKi Media & Events and the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo will bring together the key players and continue to break down barriers to maritime electrification. We do this through collaborative learning, innovation, and access to the latest technology. We are excited to be the Trade Association Partner for the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo as we continue to accelerate the industry toward sustainable maritime operations."

Roz Guarnori, Portfolio Director at UKi Media & Events, also commented: "IEMA's wealth of knowledge and commitment to advancing maritime electrification make them a perfect Association Partner for the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo. IEMA will enhance the event's offerings, providing attendees with even more insightful programming and valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and advance their projects. UKi's global research project has identified and ratified the need to serve all communities in the maritime industry and working with IEMA will enable education, networking and technology adoption in a move to support decarbonization."

IEMA members attending the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo will benefit from exclusive discounted conference delegate rates and exhibitor discounts, including for the Autonomous Ship conferences. This collaboration marks a major step forward in supporting the maritime industry's transition to electrification and underscores both organizations' commitment to creating a cleaner, more sustainable future.
