SailPro launches on Google Wear OS - Smartwatch App for yachties of all classes

by SailPro 24 Oct 2024 06:17 BST

SailPro, the innovative yacht racing app, is proud to announce its launch on Google Wear OS, making it easier than ever for sailors to access powerful race tools directly from their smartwatch.

As a free app, SailPro continues to empower yachting enthusiasts by providing race-critical data, now in a convenient, hands-free format.

SailPro for Wear OS: Stay in the race without missing a beat

With this launch, SailPro expands its accessibility to smartwatch users, allowing sailors to keep their focus on the water while staying fully informed. Most of SailPro's key features are now available on Wear OS, including:

  • Audible countdown timer - A clear, hands-free countdown to ensure precise race starts, even when the sailor is focused on the helm.
  • Audible boat speed - Sailors can receive real-time audio updates on boat speed, allowing them to focus on performance without looking down at a screen.
  • Race tracking - Track your boat's position throughout the race, directly from the convenience of your wrist.

"SailPro on Google Wear OS is a major step forward in making our app even more accessible for competitive sailors," said Peter LaFontaine, CEO of SailPro. "Wearable technology allows users to stay connected with their race without needing to pull out their phone, giving them an edge on the water."

SailPro: Designed by Yachties, for Yachties

SailPro has been developed with the yachting community in mind. As a free app, it provides competitive sailors with the tools they need to enhance their performance and stay informed during races, without the cost of traditional sailing devices. The app continues to grow, with more features constantly being added and refined to meet the needs of the sailing community.
