NMMA's Recreational Boating Industry Monthly Data Summary for October 2024 is now available to download. The monthly summaries include performance indicators on wholesale and retail sales of new powerboats and outboard engines, economic metrics, and interactive graphs illustrating historical trends, making them a powerful tool to inform strategic decisions and keep industry stakeholders up to date on the economic trends shaping consumer demand.

There is also the latest sales trends report for cruisers, watersports, fishing boats and trailers, part of National Marine Manufacturers Association's 2023 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract. The report examines retail unit sales for each category and by application, serving as the industry's go-to resource for historical data.

Mack Boring & Parts Co. announced today its partnership with Dutch manufacturer WhisperPower to exclusively distribute their full line of products in North and Central America. Sialia Yachts is pleased to appoint the experienced team at Yacht Sales International as its dealer and distributor in the USA. The two companies will debut their collaboration at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held from October 30th to November 3rd, where they will showcase, among other models, the flagship vessel from the Sialia Yachts portfolio - the Sialia 57 Deep Silence.

Fortescue Zero has today announced its plans to begin operations at its U.S. Advanced Manufacturing Center in Detroit, by producing a HV Marine Battery Pack, made using its Scalable Battery Module technology. The standardised subpack has been designed, engineered and will be used by EVOA, a leader in the field of advanced marine propulsion, to power a range of luxury marine vessels, including wake boats and tenders.

TEMO has announced the creation of its subsidiary "TEMO USA Inc." in the United States (Delaware) with an operational unit in Portland, Maine. With a logistics center to manage goods and after-sales service, as well as sales offices with a dedicated team, the company is fully operational to accelerate the development of its brand in North America.

Taiga Motors Corporation announced this week that, in connection with the proceedings initiated in July under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada), the Superior Court of Québec has issued an order approving the acquisition of substantially all of the business of Taiga and its subsidiaries by Stewart Wilkinson.

To support the next generation of offshore Canadian sailors, the Canada Ocean Racing Be Water Positive Sailing Team proudly launched its inaugural Pathway Program on Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada, from September 27-29. The program brought together four young sailors under the mentorship of Scott Shawyer, president/skipper, Ryan Barkey, boat captain, and Nick Moloney, CEO. Scott is currently training to compete in the solo non-stop round the world race, the Vendée Globe, in 2028.
