Looking down the entry list for this year's Noble Marine RS300 National championships and you have to say with the way this year's results have gone, it could be anyone's.

Will Peter Mackin finally pull a set of consistent results together?

David Acres will be looking for a big wind to hold on to the heavyweight trophy.

Luke South is always up there near the front of most racing.

Can Richard Hanby go one better from last year's results and take the crown?

Sam Davy, Neal Gibson, Tom Moore, Will Powell, Mark Newton, Ben Green and Tim Le Couilliard are always quick around a course and will always throw a spanner in anyone's attempts to hold on to places.

Steve Sallis, despite carrying a horrific finger injury will be eyeing up the masters trophy.

Plenty of New faces this year will also be looking to fight out for the apprentice trophy - keep an eye out for David Bone and Rob Baker.

Richard Hanby could be one to watch if it's light, and Ben Heppentstall pulled off some good results last year, as well as being very consistent at Hayling.

We'll be bold and bet on Cheryl Wood for first lady helm!

And last, but not least, who could forget can defending champion Harry McVicar, can he do the very rare thing of recent RS300 National Championships and win 2 year's on the bounce?

Racing gets underway at Eastbourne Sovereign Sailing Club on Thursday 12th Sept. Place your bets and follow the action here!
