2024 Finn Gold Cup at Sailing Aarhus - Day 2

by Robert Deaves 4 Sep 2024 15:35 BST 31 August - 7 September 2024

All racing was abandoned on the second day of Finn Gold Cup in Aarhus without anyone even getting wet, except from the rain.

The Bay of Aarhus remained mirror like through the morning, with the occasional shower, and with large storm systems also passing over Denmark, racing was later abandoned for the day.

There are 103 Finns from 20 nations competing in Aarhus for the 2024 Finn Gold Cup. The day was spent in conversation, discussing ideas, plans for the future and enjoying the company of like minded sailors.

The forecast for the coming days looks good with moderate winds on most days. The event is now three races behind schedule and so three races are planned for Thursday, starting at the earlier time of 11.00.

A reminder of the results so far.
