Over the past weekend, the Regattaclub Oberhofen in Oberhofen, Switzerland hosted their annual Swiss J/70 Youth Cup on the gorgeous Thunersee Lake. The area is renowned for the picturesque Oberhofen Castle built on the shore of the lake.

The RCO club hosted nine youth teams from across Switzerland. The club's amazing race management team (including world-famous sailor Chris Raast) managed to run thirteen races for the weekend regatta!

In the end, it was the host club- Regattaclub Oberhofen Youth Team that won nine of those races to easily win with 18 pts total. Their team was comprised of skipper Cedric Schenk and a team of Nicolasa Wyss, Yanic Frei, Sophie Studer, and Sterre Wiersma.

The balance of the podium was a battle down to the last race on Sunday. That duel was won by the Circle de la Voile de Villeneuve Youth Team with a total of 30 pts. Their silver-medal winning team included skipper Erin Cross and the crew of Camille Guex, Miguel Vieira Batista, and Martin Verhulst.

Losing that battle to take the bronze medal with 33 pts was CER- Ville de Geneve, with skipper Marius Lanz. His crew was Alex Ott, Joao Arariba, and Iona Jan.
