Only 1 month to go until the 33rd edition of the Mario Formenton Trophy, the regatta/sailing race for offshore and pleasure boats, among the islands of the Maddalena Archipelago (northern Sardinia), starting and finishing on 20 August in Porto Rafael, Palau.

Soon there will be a repeat of that unforgettable day of sea, sailing, and lifelong friendships, represented by the Trofeo Formenton: an atmosphere that seems to have stopped time and is repeated from one edition to the next. Children, fathers, mothers, grandparents, entire families, friends and professional sailors, who live for sailing to share it with the people they love most and who never miss the traditional regatta/sailing event of the Gallurese summer; a fixed appointment whose logistical base is the small port of Porto Rafael, a true jewel set among the pinkish granite rocks, characteristic of that part of the island.

You can register on the official website, where the ORC class regatta notice and the FIV-rated sailing notice are also published. This year there will also be a special Swan prize. The event is organised by the Yacht Club Punta Sardegna in collaboration with Geosail and with the technical support of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.

Paul & Shark, Immobilsarda, Cristies's International Real Estate, Consorzio Porto Rafael, the event's partners.
