Whittley Marine continues to expand service and boating accessories division across Australia

Australia's largest fiberglass trailer boat builder and retailer, Whittley Marine Group has made a significant investment in the Group's Service Division nationally to cater for further expansion and growth in the service sector of the market.

Part of this expansion includes the addition of more service technicians, increased in dealership service thru put capacity, more mobile service vehicles and the appointment of industry service specialist Richard Grover as National Service & Boating Accessories General Manager to manage customers service experience

Whittley Marine Group, National Dealerships General Manager, Brock Cohen had this to say about the exciting announcement.

"The Whittley Marine Group is known for its high-quality new boat manufacturing and industry leading new boat sales experience. The Service Division was implemented some four years ago, but it is time to considerably ramp up this division of the business, bringing the quality Whittley experience in an expanded service space. Mr. Grover along with myself plan to implement part of the company's strategic plan with significant growth planned for this division national. What does that mean for consumers, it means Whittley now brings a complete full circle boating experience, to boat servicing, coast to coast across the country, right in time for the peak summer boating period."

Whittley Marine Group Factory Owned Dealership locations, include; Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Gold Coast and Perth. The Service Divisions operate out of these locations and offer both in dealership and mobile service options for customer convenience. Not only does the Service Division work on all brands of boats, outboards and trailer it also has a growing after-market product fitment service for the marine industries leading products. These include, Navico, Sea Keeper Ride, Mackay Trailers, Savwinch and Volvo Penta. All service technicians are Whittley Factory trained and have a unique knowledge of all things trailerable fiberglass boats.

"In addition to these changes, we have implemented a national service booking system which offers customers the ability to book a service job either online or by phoning 03 8339 1800. We are planning to bring an automotive industry standard service experience for our customers, to the trailer boat marine space. With behind-the-scenes systems, that customers don't see bringing together an end customer experience which is one of the best in the industry." Mr Cohen said.

Whittley Marine Group's new National Service & Boating Accessories General Manager Mr. Grover will be based at the Whittley WA site in Wangara and manage the entire Service Division nationally. Mr. Grover had this to say about the appointment.
