The OK class will be heading to Brixham YC in just over a week to compete for their 2024 National Championship event.

With the weather to date unseasonably cool, we are hoping that the sunshine will break through for the event and bring some good sailing wind too. As the guide books say ‘Brixham is the quintessential English harbour, with a colourful and vibrant feel all year round, making it as ideal for a summer holiday’ to which should be added ‘and championship sailing’!

With entries still coming in the class is looking at a fleet of about 40 boats, with competitors coming from all over the UK and beyond. Racing starts on Thursday 18 July and runs through to Sunday 21 July. There is a class dinner on the Saturday night, which will follow on from the 2024 AGM.

You can still enter via www.okdinghy.co.uk/ok-dinghy-national-championship-entry-form (deadline 14th July).
