The RS21 World Championship 2024 is set to be the largest and most competitive event in the Class's history. Now in its third year, the RS21 World Championship promises an unparalleled experience for competitors afloat, and friends and family ashore.

The RS21 class is breaking records as it continues to grow around the World. Leading the way are fleets in the UK, Italy, the UAE, Poland, USA, Canada, and the Netherlands, with more nations joining the Class in 2024. The growth of these National Class Associations shows the growing popularity of the RS21 as the one-design keelboat of choice.

More Than a Regatta: The 2024 RS21 World Championship is not just about racing; it's about creating unforgettable experiences. Participants and their families can look forward to a rich program that includes:

  • Comprehensive Event Schedule: From practice sessions and World Championship races, to social events like the Championship Dinner, Apres Sail Parties, and Opening ceremony - the Worlds is about more than just sailing.
  • Friends and Family Pass: Bring your family and friends into the RS21 experience. The World Championship will be the first to have a 'Friends and Family Pass', enabling non-sailors to participate in all the event's social activities. This includes joining in the fun from Apres Sail all the way through to the Championship Dinner.
  • Spectacular Venue: Club Nàutic L'Escala is based in the Bay of Roses, a UNESCO World Heritage sites. Beautiful bays, nature reserves, and spectacular wildlife, L'Escala offers the perfect holiday destination for sailors and non-sailors alike.
  • World Class Competition: With an entry limit set at 80 boats, World Champions from multiple classes, and a strengthening under-23 Category, this Worlds is the place to be no matter if you're hunting for the win, or new to the Class and looking to get exposure to a fantastic learning environment.

Sustainability Focus: In line with sustainability commitments, the 2024 RS21 World Championship has partnered with "Sailors for the Sea" to ensure that the event is environmentally responsible. This partnership will implement practices to minimize the event's environmental footprint, promote ocean conservation, and educate participants on sustainable sailing.
