Windward VIP Lounge experience debuts at Newport International Boat Show

Newport International Boat Show announced today that tickets are now on sale for this year's Newport International Boat Show presented by BankNewport. New for this year, the Windward VIP Lounge Experience will debut at #NIBS24. The Show will be held September 12-15, 2024, at the Newport Yachting Center Marina in downtown Newport, Rhode Island.

The Windward VIP Lounge offers attendees an exclusive retreat with views of Narragansett Bay and ocean sounds of an active waterfront. It includes a premium open bar, gourmet culinary delights served all day, private restrooms and a place to unwind and relax, indoors and outdoors. Guests can enjoy a private oasis while being amid the hustle and bustle of the Newport Boat Show.

"This year's Show promises to be the best yet! This includes expanded areas both on-land and in-water and additional classroom education and hands-on programming. Our Show is the place to see the newest and most innovative boats and marine products in the industry," said Jocelyn Emory, Director of Marketing for the Newport Boat Show. "We're very excited to debut the Windward VIP Lounge for guests, elevating the already remarkable Show experience. This year, we're confident it will be one you can't miss!"

One of the largest in-water events in the country and the premier show in New England, The Newport International Boat Show encompasses over 15 acres of Newport's famed waterfront with six connecting show sites both on land and in water. It hosts hundreds of exhibitors, dealers and manufacturers, with new powerboats and sailboats ranging from 15- to 90-feet, plus an extensive selection of marine equipment, services and accessories for boaters. A number of high-profile sponsors are already committed to adding to the experience with special events throughout the days of the Show.

To purchase tickets online, click here. Opening Preview Day is Thursday, September 12, sponsored by Discover Newportand Marsh McLennan Agency, and the ticket price is $40. A One-Day General Admission ticket if purchased now through September 11 is $31 or day-of tickets are $33, valid any one day Friday-Sunday.

Windward VIP Lounge One-Day Tickets are $275, with a debut special of $225 available now through July 15 with limited quantities. It is recommended to purchase digital tickets in advance. Digital tickets will be scanned at entry of the Windward Lounge. This VIP ticket is admission to the Windward and is your admission to the show for any one day of the Show. Visitors must be 18 or older to enter the Windward VIP Lounge.
