Groupe Beneteau, a global player in boating industry, is strengthening its Boat division. The division will now be organized around three business segments: Sailing (monohulls and multihulls), Dayboating (motorboats from 20 to 40 feet for day cruising) and Real Estate on the Water (motoryachts from 40 to 80 feet).

This new organization will enable Groupe Beneteau to pursue its transformation as a multi-specialist player in the boating industry, in order to be as close as possible to the expectations of its customers and a rapidly evolving market. In this context, Groupe Beneteau announces several appointments.

Clément Himily is appointed General Manager of the Sailing business unit (monohull and multihull). With over 15 years' experience in the industry, Clément Himily joined Groupe Beneteau in 2017. He has worked to develop the Construction Navale Bordeaux site, for which he became General Manager in 2020, against a backdrop of transformation and growth for the LAGOON and EXCESS brands. He has previously held a number of operational management positions for food industry groups such as Mondelez International and Danone.

Yannick Madiot is appointed General Manager of the Dayboating business unit (20 to 40 feet motorboats for day cruising). Yannick Madiot has acquired over 25 years' experience in a variety of demanding international industrial environments. He is already familiar with the Groupe Beneteau and in particular its American subsidiary, having held the position of Vice President Finance and Administration for Beneteau USA for eight years from 2002. In 2010, he returned to France to join the WEIR Group, where he was successively Chief Financial Officer and then Managing Director of the Safety Valves business. Yannick Madiot also held the position of Operations Director for North America within the Boat division of the Groupe Beneteau between 2019 and 2021.

Michelangelo Casadei is appointed General Manager of the Real Estate on the Water business unit (40 to 80 feet motoryacht). He joins Groupe Beneteau after more than 20 years' experience in the automotive and marine industries. Michelangelo Casadei was leading the Finnish plant and Operations of the Nautor Swan Group between 2021 and 2024. Prior to this, he worked for the Ferretti Group between 2008 and 2021 as Quality Director and then as Engineering Director.

"I am delighted with the appointments of Clément Himily, Yannick Madiot and Michelangelo Casadei, and wish them every success in fulfilling their missions at the head of these new business units. This reorganization of the Boat division will enable our Group to continue its transformation as a multi-specialist, and to remain as close as possible to the specific expectations of our customers in each segment." - Gianguido Girotti, CEO Boat division, Groupe Beneteau.
