Bayliss Boatworks new construction updates
by Bayliss Boatworks 2 Jun 2024 19:04 BST
The final touches are wrapping up on our first walkaround build! Everett Nautical has finished her transom artwork, and her bottom paint and bootstripe are now complete! The interior carpentry crew is completing installations in the lower accommodations, and her interior countertops and bridge curtains have been installed.
Sequentis
has been moved to the water where she will remain until she is christened later this month!

Max Bet
hit a few major project milestones last month! Earlier in May, our paint team completed her topcoat in our new paint facility. Now coated in a Custom Imron Gray,
Max Bet
was then moved over to our main shop where Palm Beach Towers successfully installed her tower and hardtop. We look forward to our interior team installing cabinetry items in the lower accommodations prior to her first sea trial later this summer.

May was a busy month on Big Deal! Mockups were installed in the galley and lower accommodations by our interior carpentry crew, while our paint and exterior departments got to work sanding her cabin and installing the halfround. Up next, our team will begin fabricating the fish box and progress will continue on the mezzanine.

We are proud to introduce Bayliss 64' as
Tarheel
: the second demo boat for Bayliss Boatworks. Slightly larger than her predecessor, the 64'
Tarheel
will have a new general arrangement with an offset door, walnut interior, MTU engines, two Seakeeper 10.5s, and a new cockpit design including in-deck night dry dredge storage.
Last month was
Tarheel's
engine install! Our mechanical crew diligently installed her two MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines and Northern Light generators, and our exterior carpentry team assisted in the installation of her salon deck.
Tarheel
was then moved over to our main shop where crews have begun wiring in the engine room.
