12 Musto Skiffs turned up on the Friday before the open weekend in Weymouth. The weather was perfect. It was a bit hotter than people expected by the red hot faces on the fleet. The wind built from 6 knots to 12 by the end of the day.

The fleet wanted to work on a mix of starting and upwind settings, so Robbie Richardson, our expert coach, set us two practice starts and then a 10 minute windward-leeward course. After 3 hours of doing this we think we did 18 starts in total. We then headed in to look at the video.

Full points to Jamie Hilton who took my threat of anyone caught over the line more than once having to do 10 press ups very seriously and did his on the water. The rest of us did them later with a pint or two inside us. Robbie did a brilliant job to get video of everyone and pass on a tip or two to each sailor.

Thanks to Noble Marine for there continued support of the class and Martin Pascoe for running the starts and constantly moving the start line.
