More than 25 boats are expected to participate in the Squib East Coast Championship 2024, over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, 25th and 26th of May, at Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, the spiritual home of the Squib class.

The event, the second of the Burnham Squib Fleet MAYhem, is also part of the National Squib Owners Association's Traveller Series and precedes the 2024 National Squib Championships, to be hosted by Royal Forth Yacht Club.

The forecasted light winds, along with the notorious Burnham tide, will test the seamanship skills of the competitors, with a number of boats already making the switch to the new B3 Hyde Sails, that proved very successful at the Gold Cup event, earlier in the month.

In perfect Royal Corinthian Yacht Club fashion, the club will be hosting a Mediterranean evening, along with a live band, Trussford & Guns, on the Saturday evening, followed by the Squib East Coast Championship Prize Giving Dinner, on the evening of Sunday.
